Pay Range
The pay range for this position is between $45,000.00 – $65,000.00.
Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Temco Logistics is seeking a dependable and skilled Driver and Appliance Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a 26 ft box truck to deliver and install household appliances to residential and commercial customers. This role requires a blend of driving expertise, physical capability, and technical proficiency to handle installations, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a safety-first work environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
- Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.).
- Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.
- Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components.
- Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols.
What You Bring:
- MUST be 21+ years of age
- Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
- Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred).
- Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!).
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
- Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement
