Angelica
Distribution Center Operations Manager
Angelica began her Home Depot career in 2019. Her husband, a MET Supervisor, suggested she apply for an open role at his store. “I was hired as a Department Supervisor the day before my birthday,” Angelica recalls. After hearing about Home Depot from her husband, she was excited to experience our culture firsthand.
She connected with our values and was eager to grow with the team. Angelica’s dedication helped her excel as a Department Supervisor and prepared her to take the next step in her career. She became a Specialty Assistant Store Manager (SASM), where she continued to develop her skills and leadership experience.
In 2022, she decided to take a big step in her career. A new Distribution Fulfillment Center (DFC) was opening nearby, and she had the opportunity to start as an Area Supervisor. Even though her experience was in retail, she was excited to take on a new challenge and learn more about the supply chain side of our business.
As an Area Supervisor, Angelica led a team of associates responsible for making sure warehouse operations ran smoothly. The role also gave her the opportunity to expand her operations knowledge beyond her local warehouse. “I traveled to different DFCs throughout the country to get training and provide support,” Angelica shares. Her willingness to embrace new challenges and learn from every opportunity paved the way for her next big career move. In 2024, she relocated across the country to take on her current role as a Distribution Center Operations Manager.
