Josue
Area Supervisor
Josue’s Home Depot career journey started in 2020. Because he was finishing college and starting a family, he knew he needed a job with stability and great benefits. Josue found a role that worked for him at one of our Rapid Distribution Centers (RDC).
As a Warehouse Associate in the outbound department, his daily responsibilities included:
- Staging product to fill orders for our stores and distribution centers
- Safely operating equipment such as forklifts to load trucks or move product
- Packaging shipments for their next destination
This work helps keep stores stocked with high demand products for our customers, while giving Josue the stability to support his family and the foundation to grow his career.

He built his leadership skills by serving as the outbound point of contact and becoming the go-to person on his team for questions and problem-solving.
By prioritizing his career growth, Josue advanced to his next step as an Area Supervisor. “I chose Home Depot because I saw how they invest in their people,” he says. “I was able to grow from an hourly associate to a supervisor. Not every company will give you that opportunity.”
As an Area Supervisor, he leads a team at a Crown Bolt Distribution Center. He manages operations, ensuring that hardware and fastener products move through the warehouse safely, accurately, and on time.
Josue credits his success with two key strategies: owning his development and building strong relationships. “Hard work and respect for others will take you far,” he says. “It’s how I’ve grown my career.”
