Position Purpose:
The Product Orchestration team is the hub of interaction across product teams and business stakeholders. They facilitate development work across chains of teams, often driving discussions and cross-portfolio sessions.
The Program Manager of Product Orchestration typically reports to Sr. Manager and helps to define actions that need to be taken, understand what went well/didn’t go well in previous iterations (sets of work), and guide corrective action across impacted teams. The product orchestrator also helps with stakeholder involvement/engagement. This process improves overtime and should be seen as a more entrepreneurial and agile way of working than traditional program management.
Key Responsibilities:
- 10% – Build & Maintain Templates – Build and maintain master templates for all communication channels on behalf of assigned products. This individual will also create a master timeline inclusive of work across all product lines.
- 15% – Change Management – Drives change through communication of vision and objectives to gain organizational buy in. Prioritizes and integrates changes into normal business practice and develops support structures to ensure sustainability. Effectively challenges the status quo. Advocates for understanding and an end-to-end customer point of view.
- 30% – Integrate Dependencies Across Workstreams – Act as the integrator across the range of program contributors including internal groups, vendors, IT and third-party software providers by identifying and managing dependencies across disparate workstreams and mitigating overall risk to the program success. Orchestrates ceremonies and workshops that foster collaboration.
- 15% – Managing Communication – Manage communication of multiple projects by integrating and leading the efforts of a broad range of contributors, ensuring that all necessary product deliverables are completed on time and impacts are communicated to stakeholders. Values the story and ensures effective communication to various stakeholders so they understand, learn, and improve. Helps create clarity for product leaders trying to navigate cross-team dependencies to align work and outcomes.
- 30% – Strategic Analysis – Identifies business strategies and objectives based on thorough understanding of the business; performs project risk assessments as well sequencing of dependencies; identifies key business risks and opportunities; analyzes and communicates results. Meets teams where they are and provides necessary support to ensure optimal performance.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree and PMP certification
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
- Previous experience working in a PMO Retail / ecommerce experience
- Agile development and technical acumen / agile certification
- Project Management experience in a corporate environment
- High degree of confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience creating, prioritizing and accepting user stories
- Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
